Frequently asked questions about mobile sauna rental
What is the difference between sauna 1 and sauna 2?
Sauna 1 is one of our newest and largest saunas and can accommodate up to 16 people. The diameter of the barrel is also larger than usual, providing extra space inside. It's perfect for corporate events and rentals where you want the nicest and newest sauna.
Sauna 2 is one of our older saunas with room for up to 12 people. It is important to note that the sauna works perfectly, but it has started to show some signs of age. 🙂 We therefore recommend this sauna for private and smaller events.

What is included in the price?
Included in the rental price is always:
- Bucket & Scoop
- Ignition briquettes & lighters
- Fire extinguisher
- Key to the door
- Dustpan & Broom
- Window cleaning equipment

Where do you deliver?
As a starting point, we only deliver on Zealand, but special agreements can be made for the rest of Denmark on demand.
The price of transportation is determined based on the delivery postal code*.
Postal code: 1000-2999 = 2.000kr
Postal code: 3000-3499 = 2.500kr
Postal code: 3500-3999* = 3.000kr
Postcode: 4000-4700 = 4.000kr

*Additional costs for any bridge, toll or ferry will be added subsequently.
**Bornholm is not included in this price.
How many people can you fit in the sauna?
Sauna 1 can accommodate up to 16 people and sauna 2 can accommodate up to 12 people.
The above is indicative and based on our recommendation. If you don't mind sitting a little close, you can probably fit a few more people in each sauna.
Do I need a permit to install a mobile sauna?
Our saunas are delivered on trailers, so in most cases a permit is not required on private property.
Saunas can be set up in public parking lots for a maximum of 24 hours. Remember to pay for parking if it is required in that space.
As saunas emit smoke, they must not be placed in the immediate vicinity of neighbors or other properties where this could be a nuisance.
Please note that it is always the tenant's responsibility to ensure that the sauna can be set up in the desired location. We therefore always recommend that you check with the landowner in advance whether permission is required.
How long does it take to heat up the sauna?
It depends on the temperature outside. If it's very cold, you should allow a little extra time to heat up. If it's warm, the sauna can reach the desired temperature faster.
A rule of thumb is about 1 hour to reach 80 degrees, at an outdoor temperature of around 5-10 degrees.
Can you pick up the sauna yourself?
It is not possible to pick up the sauna yourself and it is not permitted to transport the sauna during the rental period. Transportation and moving may only be carried out by Mobilsauna's own staff. This rule is in place to protect the saunas and for insurance purposes.
Violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, without refund of the rent.
Can you add ice baths, saunas, etc.?
Yes, you can, but you'll need to send a request via our event form.
