How to book
It's super simple to book:
- Go to the booking form.
- Select the number of hours.
- Select date and time.
- Add to cart.
- Pay with Mobilepay or card.
- You will now receive an email with booking confirmation and access code.
- Good boy!

Public transportation
There are several ways to get to Banegaarden by public transportation. Take metro M4 Havneholmen St. or M3 to Enghaveplads. From both stations Banegaarden is about 15 minutes away on foot or 5 minutes by bike.
Parking space
There is paid parking right by the train station.
How to get in
Once you have booked the sauna, you will receive an email with a password for the door.
(The code is at the top of your order confirmation)
Instructions for unlocking the door:
- Press and hold the "Card" button to bring up the keyboard.
- Press the code: XXXX (End with #)
- The door unlocks and you can enjoy your session
When you're done (Read before use!)
- Please stay on time and spend the last 10 minutes getting ready for the next one.
- Empty the sauna of garbage.
- Any tableware and glasses must be returned to Banegaarden.
- Leave the sauna as you would receive it yourself. 🙂
- Locking the door
Toilet / changing room
Our sauna is equipped with an extra room at one end where you can store your belongings during the sauna session and change clothes.
There are two changing rooms under the canopy by the sauna.
There is access to toilets 30 meters from the sauna, where it is also possible to change. You may want to bring a bathrobe and slippers to wear between the sauna and changing rooms.
Please note that the toilets may be locked outside Banegaarden's opening hours.
Guidelines
- Always sit on a towel.
- Only fresh water may be poured on the sauna. (In small quantities)
- It is not allowed to use our facilities without a swimsuit or towel. This must be respected both in and around the sauna. This also applies to. any toilet visits.
- You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink on Banegaarden / and in the sauna. With the exception of water. (Water cans can be filled in the sinks by the toilets).
- We recommend that you read our "Frequently asked questions" before use.
The concept
When you book one of our regular saunas, you book it for 1 or 2 hours privately.
This means that ONLY you have access to the sauna within the booked time.
Banegaarden is a small green oasis just 15 minutes from Enghave Square,
where you can now rent a private sauna on an hourly basis or participate in weekly saunagus.

Frequently asked questions about fixed location sauna
Where do you have fixed saunas?
Right now we have a permanent sauna at Banegaarden in Copenhagen SV, which you'll find just 10 minutes from the nearest metro.

The sauna is located in "Vildthaven" at Banegaarden in Copenhagen SV.
The address is: Otto Busses Vej 45, 2450 Copenhagen
Public transportation:
You can either take the Metro to Enghave Square or Havneholmen station. From both stations it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk.
Parking:
It is possible to park 30 meters from Banegaarden.
The parking area is called "Otto Busses Vej 5A / Lokomotivværkstedet"
How much does it cost?
You can rent the sauna for one, two or three hours.
1 hour = 950kr / Hour
2 hours = 875kr / Hour
3 hours = 815kr / Hour
How many people can be in the sauna at Banegaarden?
We recommend a maximum of 12 people at a time in the sauna at Banegaarden.
If you don't mind sitting close together, there may be room for 1-2 extra people.
Can you pour water on the stove?
- If you are unsure how to handle the stove correctly, don't pour anything on the stove.
- Only fresh tap water may be used on the stove, in very small quantities.
- The stove must be respected - the water must always evaporate. If the stones get wet, too much water has been used.
- Only 100% essential oils may be used. These should be mixed with fresh water before use (max. 3-5 drops per cup of water).
- If the stove is damaged as a result of incorrect use, any repairs will be invoiced to the tenant.
What should I bring?
We always recommend that you bring your own:
- Swimwear
- Towel to sit on
- Extra towel for changing room
- Water bottle
- Bath slippers / Slippers
- Booking confirmation with code to the door
Is there a changing room?
There is a small anteroom in the sauna and there are also two changing rooms under the canopy.
During Banegaarden's opening hours, you can also use the restrooms for changing.
Do I need to bring water?
We recommend that you bring approximately 1-2 liters of water per person.
It is also possible to fill your water bottle at the showers.
Is it possible to book saunagus?
Saunagus hold:
We run daily saunagus classes in the sauna. You can see available times here.
Private sauna shower:
If you want a private sauna shower, we can do that too!

Can you swim?
Two cold water tubs and two cold water showers are located by the sauna.
NOTE: Remember to use the shower before jumping in the tub.
How do I book the sauna?

4) Complete the order and receive code to the door via email
5) The sauna is warm and ready when you arrive

Do I have the sauna to myself?
Private sauna:
If you choose a time via the booking form, you have the entire sauna to yourself. This means that only you and the people you choose to bring with you have access to the sauna during the selected time slot.
You can be up to 12 people.
Saunagus:
If you participate in one of our sauna classes, you book a place in the sauna. This means that others can also participate in the class.
